This incredibly unique, one-of-a-kind strap is crafted from a NEWLY crafted, hand-embroidered ‘faja’ (fah-ha) and is ready to bring a new eclectic feel to your bag or camera. A ‘faja’ is a beautiful belt that is part of a Mayan woman’s ‘traje’, or traditional dress. Each is special and carefully designed in the desired style of the incredible artist who made it and wore it first. Our partners in Guatemala then gave it a new life by adding genuine leather details and antiqued brass hardware to be used however you wish. The original strap and textile is vintage.
